Wood Destroying Insect Inspections We will have your home and garage inspected for the
presence of termites, carpenter ants, and all other wood destroying insects. This inspection
will be done by a well regarded licensed pest control firm specializing in wood destroying
insect infestation and treatment.
Radon Testing We are certified and NJ licensed radon technologists. We can perform a
screening test for Radon gas levels in the home according to the protocols and standards of
the NJ Dept. of Environmental Protection. In NJ, a radon test is recommended by the NJ DEP
for all home buyers. The cost for the radon test is separately listed on our agreement, and is
included in the price we will quote you when you call us.
Oil Tank Searches & Testing Unless you have credible documentation that there is no
abandoned buried oil tank on the property, we recommend that a tank search be done to
protect you. If there is an active buried oil tank, then it should be tested for integrity and
condition. These are services that are not performed by Meyers Home Inspections, however
we can arrange to have qualified firms do this work for you.
Lead Paint Survey A comprehensive home survey for the presence and condition of lead
based paint may be advisable in older homes. The lead paint survey is not performed by
Meyers Home Inspections, however we can arrange to have qualified firms do this work for
you.
Septic System & Well Water Testing Tests of private sewerage disposal systems (septic
systems) and also tests of well water used for the home are best done by separate
companies specializing in this work. If needed, we can arrange to have this work done as a
separate service. Water and septic tank tests are not performed by Meyers Home

Hi.. You inspected a home for me a few months back in Springfield, NJ. Due to the stucco issue on the home, we actually backed out of the
house. We are now pursuing a home actually around the corner. We felt that Dan did a fabulous job and we appreciated his thoroughness and
honesty. You also recommended the stucco guy who was GREAT and he found SEVERAL issues which really helped up us make a crucial

Hi.. You inspected a home for me a few months back in Springfield, NJ. Due to the stucco issue on the home, we actually backed out of the
